At Weight Loss New Jersey we want to look out for you!

Now because you are from New Jersey, you may never have heard of  Weight Loss Forever.  Well, it is a prime example of why you need to be careful choosing your weight loss facility.

Weight Loss Forever was a typical, local weight loss center with 8 locations across the Virginia Beach area.  Now I know this didn’t happen in New Jersey but it easily could happen in our beloved state as well.

I want to make it clear right from the get go that I am not saying it was a waste of money to go to this particular weight loss establishment since a lot of people had great results using these centers.  The only catch to these fitness centers is many of them will require you put a lot of money up front for products, counseling, meal plans, etc.

Now this is where you need to be careful.  Hundreds of people put their hard-earned cash up front for the services of Weight Loss Forever… and lost thousands!

You see, what happened was this particular outfit decided to close up shop, unannounced and simply kept every one’s money. Not a bad business strategy but horrible for the consumers you were ripped off.

Granted, this is an isolated incident in a completely different state but it just goes to show how much money people are willing to spend to try and lose weight.  This can put you at risk of those companies that have no problems stealing from you.

It is amazing to think that people were losing hundreds and thousands of dollars? To lose weight?

I guess when there is rent to pay, employees to pay, advertising costs and all that sort of stuff  required to run a brick and mortar business, well, somebody has to pay for it and that someone is you, so be careful!

I personally think the number one reason people choose to go to weight loss clinics and centers is because of the amazing support system.  I know from experience that it is hard to keep motivated and the willpower will start to drop throughout your ups and downs and highs and low while trying to lose weight.

This is the very reason why we created Weight Loss New Jersey, to try and give you the support you need without spending so much money.  As well, this way you aren’t risking your hard-earned money in hopes you will not be taken advantage of.

Let’s face it, in this day and age, businesses go out of business all the time so I urge you to think twice about it when someone ask you to give them your credit card for future payments in the hundreds or thousands of dollars range.

In my experience if you intend to choose a weight loss center, it is best you stick with national brands like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. These are solid companies with centers all across the country so you should be safe when it comes to your investment.
